This enormous leap in power output follows on from the game-changing NEO 2 back in 2017. Amateur Photographer had this to say about the NEO 2 on launch and we believe the NEO 3 will follow suit.
For portrait photographers, the NEO 3 combines the shoot what you see benefits of continuous light with the world’s first High-Speed Sync RGB flash (1/8000th). With a powerful output of 10,700 LUX at 1m and zero recycle time, you can get up to 100,000 full-power flashes on a single battery.
Shoot at any colour temperature from 3000-10,000K for a significant boost over continuous light performance. For the first time, you can also shoot in any one of NEO 3’s 16.7 million colours or 2,500 digital filters for ultimate creative lighting effects. NEO 3 can be wirelessly triggered at up to 656ft (200m) with the integrated Elinchrom Skyport flash receiver with Skyport transmitters, available as an add-on when selecting your pledge. Alternatively, you can use your existing triggers using the 3.5mm flash sync socket.
